Leading University in Innovation, Research, and Education in Asia

Center for Musculoskeletal Research and Computational Health Sciences (CMRCHS) aims to advance the prevention and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders—particularly osteoporosis and fragility fractures—by integrating clinical orthopaedic expertise with large-scale data science and computational methods.
In particular, we conduct clinical epidemiological research using multicenter orthopaedic registries and nationwide administrative databases to evaluate treatment outcomes, surgical strategies, and secondary fracture prevention in hip surgery and fragility fracture care. We seek to generate real-world evidence that directly informs clinical decision-making. We further develop predictive models and agentic AI workflows to accelerate the research process itself, from systematic literature appraisal to outcome prediction.
Through these activities, our group contributes to healthier aging and the reduction of the musculoskeletal disease burden in aging societies across Asia.
