We felt that the reasons for this go beyond just a "lack of design" or "lack of awareness." There's a more fundamental issue—the "brand awareness."​

Of course, Nagoya University is a wonderful educational and research institution. The faculty and staff warmly support the challenges of the students. However, how many students can proudly say, "I am truly proud of my university"?​

We want to love Nagoya University more and feel proud of it. And we want to create an opportunity for ourselves and others to think, "Meidai is great!" That is why we, as current university students, are taking on the challenge of making T-shirts.

These T-shirts are not just fashion items. We believe they will become a symbol that "visualizes" the pride of Nagoya University students and a new bridge connecting the university and its students. And that pride will surely not fade even after graduation. Years later, at alumni gatherings, we want to increase the number of people who can reminisce about their university days and think, "I'm so glad I went to that university."
