Spring Camp in Singapore 2025 – Report on the Junior Student Program

On April 3–4, 2025, Nagoya University Global Campus (Singapore) hosted a two-day program for 15 upper primary and junior high school students as part of the "Spring Camp in Singapore 2025" organized by Meishinken Holdings.

This special program aimed to nurture global awareness and cultural understanding among younger students. It was conducted in partnership with Professor Hiroshi Imaizumi and Associate Professor Hoshino from Nagoya University, who provided planning support and special lectures.

The program featured a wide range of activities: a career talk by an NUS student (formerly from the University of Tokyo), lectures on global issues such as sustainability, a visit to Google Singapore with interactions with Japanese employee, and student-led discussions with NUS students. Students also took part in a campus tour and a financial literacy workshop held in both English and Japanese.

Despite being in a new cultural environment, the participating students showed great curiosity and enthusiasm throughout the program. The experience is sure to become a meaningful milestone in their growth and future journeys.

Nagoya University Global Campus remains committed to supporting the development of the next generation through active partnerships and educational outreach.
