School of Informatics Training Program in Singapore 2024

From July 14 to 22, 2024, the Nagoya University Global Campus hosted a training program in Singapore for the School of Informatics, engaging 30 students. The program included visits to various leading companies, offering participants a unique opportunity to gain industry insights.

Students visited the Asia headquarters of Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google's Asia Pacific headquarters, the Microsoft Experience Center at its Asia Pacific headquarters, and Toyota Tsusho Asia Pacific. These visits provided them with an enriching educational experience, showcasing innovations in technology and insights into future developments across multiple sectors.

Additionally, the program featured an insightful lecture by Mr. Takashi Katsuragi, MD & CEO of Rakuten Asia, and a Problem-Based Learning (PBL) session led by Ms. Kaoru Tanaka, a former Rakuten Executive Officer in Information Technology.
