NUGC Singapore Meets with Japanese Embassy to Explore Collaboration for 60th Anniversary of Japan-Singapore Diplomatic Relations

On April 24, 2025, Nagoya University Global campus (NUGC) Singapore held a meeting with Mr. Hotta Toru, Deputy Chief of Mission and Minister, and Mr. Kazuo Okamoto, First Secretary (Economics) of the Japanese Embassy in Singapore. The discussion focused on potential collaboration to commemorate the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Japan and Singapore. Both parties also explored ways to promote friendship and cooperation between Japan’s Central Japan (中部) region and Singapore, aiming to strengthen cultural, academic, and economic ties for mutual benefit.
