NOC Nagoya Dinner Gathering in Nagoya

On 11 March 2024, a dinner gathering was held in Nagoya to bring together key partners involved in the NOC Nagoya programme. The event aimed to strengthen collaboration across academia, startups, and industry, while fostering open dialogue among stakeholders supporting the programme.

The gathering welcomed a diverse group of participants, including two NUS PhD students currently undertaking internships in Nagoya, representatives from NUS Enterprise Japan, entrepreneurs from Nagoya University–affiliated startups, a potential host company for the upcoming NOC Nagoya August Intake, and members from the Nagoya Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Through informal discussion and exchange, participants shared perspectives on talent development, startup collaboration, and industry–academia partnerships. The relaxed setting encouraged meaningful conversation beyond formal meetings.

The evening provided a valuable opportunity to deepen existing partnerships and open new possibilities for future collaboration, reinforcing the ecosystem that supports the NOC Nagoya programme.
