NOC Nagoya Begins: Internship at a Nagoya University
On 15 January 2024, The NUS Overseas Colleges (NOC) Nagoya, Japan programme officially began, marking the start of a new internship placement for an NUS PhD student at MAP4, a startup affiliated with Nagoya University (NU). This milestone represents the launch of hands-on, research-linked startup experiences under the NOC Nagoya programme, connecting academic expertise with innovation in the local startup ecosystem.
To commemorate the start of this collaboration, a visit was made to the National University of Singapore (NUS) Urban Analytics Lab, where discussions were held with faculty members and doctoral students from both universities. The exchange provided an opportunity to deepen dialogue around research, entrepreneurship, and cross-border collaboration.
The meeting further strengthened academic and entrepreneurial ties between Nagoya University and the National University of Singapore, highlighting the role of the NOC Nagoya programme in fostering long-term partnerships between Singapore and Nagoya.
