Nagoya University Representatives Attend 118th International Exchange Meeting of the Chubu-Japan Singapore Council

Nagoya, Japan – On 6 August 2024, Representatives from Nagoya University participated in the 118th International Exchange Meeting of the Chubu-Japan Singapore Council held at Kawabun. The event was attended by H.E. Mr. Eng Chuan Ong, Ambassador of the Republic of Singapore to Japan, and his wife.

Nagoya University's delegation included President Naoshi Sugiyama, Professor Hiroshi Imaizumi, Director of the Nagoya University Global Campus (NUGC), and two students who recently participated in an exchange program in Singapore.

Established in 1989, the Chubu-Japan Singapore Council aims to foster relations between Singapore and the Chubu region of Japan, supported by various organizations, including the Singapore Embassy and Singapore Airlines.
