Nagoya University Professors Visit Singapore for AIMX Singapore 2026

On 26 August 2026, Nagoya University Global Campus (Singapore) welcomed Professor Shintaro Oyama and Mr. Taiki Furukawa from Nagoya University during their visit to Singapore for AIMX Singapore 2026, an international event bringing together researchers, industry leaders, startups, and other stakeholders to advance AI adoption and innovation.

During their visit, the delegation exchanged perspectives on AI, digital health, medical innovation, and research collaboration, while learning more about Singapore’s innovation ecosystem and the connections between universities, startups, and industry.

As part of the visit, Krista Nethania, a Nagoya University student undertaking an internship in Singapore through the NOC Inbound Programme, introduced the visitors to BLOCK71 and shared her experience of Singapore’s startup and innovation ecosystem.

The visit provided an opportunity to connect Nagoya University faculty and students with Singapore’s innovation community, supporting further exchange and collaboration in research, innovation, and entrepreneurship between Japan and Singapore.
