Nagoya University President Leads Delegation to A*STAR for Strategic Collaboration

On 29 October 2024 – The President of Nagoya University, accompanied by a delegation, visited the A*STAR - Agency for Science, Technology and Research. They were warmly welcomed by Deputy CEO Andy Hor and his team.


The meeting focused on A*STAR's core competencies in microelectronics, the chemical industry, polytechnic engineering, and pharmaceuticals. Both parties explored avenues for collaboration, particularly in materials science, bio-agriculture, and mobility, with a keen emphasis on integrating social systems and artificial intelligence into their research initiatives.


Nagoya University underscored its existing presence in Singapore through the Nagoya University Global Campus, which operates nine Satellite Laboratories, and reaffirmed its interest in collaborative research efforts. The discussions at A*STAR reflected a shared commitment to fostering innovation and growth through strategic partnerships.
