Nagoya University Participates in JAGAM Japan Education Fair 2026 in Malaysia

On 22–23 August 2026, Nagoya University Global Campus (Singapore) participated in the JAGAM Japan Education Fair 2026 (JJEF 2026), held in Penang and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. As Nagoya University’s first participation in the event, the fair provided a valuable opportunity to connect directly with prospective students, university students, and parents interested in pursuing higher education in Japan.

During the fair, the team introduced Nagoya University’s undergraduate and graduate programmes, including the G30 International Programs, which offer degree programmes taught entirely in English. Visitors also learned about Nagoya University’s research environment, international student support, scholarship opportunities, and the various pathways available for studying in Japan.

The team was pleased to engage with attendees and answer questions about academic programmes and opportunities at Nagoya University. These interactions provided an opportunity to better understand the interests and aspirations of students considering Japan as a destination for their future studies.

The event also provided an opportunity to meet H.E. Ambassador Shikata Noriyuki, Ambassador of Japan to Malaysia, who shared remarks on the value of studying in Japan and the importance of educational and people-to-people exchanges between Japan and Malaysia. The team also met Mr. Gary Tang, President of the Japan Graduates’ Association of Malaysia (JAGAM), and learned more about JAGAM’s longstanding efforts to promote Japanese education and strengthen ties between Japan and Malaysia.

Nagoya University Global Campus (Singapore) extends its sincere appreciation to JAGAM, its committee members, volunteers, and all those involved in organizing JJEF 2026. We also thank everyone who visited the Nagoya University booth and attended the sessions. The University looks forward to continuing to connect with students in Malaysia and supporting those interested in pursuing academic opportunities in Japan.
