Nagoya University Global Campus, Ltd. has been officially established in Singapore

On 22 November 2023, Nagoya University officially established a legal entity in Singapore known as Nagoya University Global Campus, Ltd. (NUGC)

As part of these efforts, Nagoya University will begin collaborating with several local educational institutions, public agencies, and private companies including our partner the National University of Singapore (NUS).

As part of our partnership with NUS, Nagoya University students will join the NOC Inbound Program at NUS in 2024. They will learn about Singapore's startup ecosystem and gain entrepreneurial skills. They’ll also participate in educational programs in Singapore along with their internships at startups.

In addition, Nagoya University Global Campus will continue to support startups. One of the ways we have worked towards this goal is by promoting Nagoya University’s startups at Asia Technology x Singapore 2023.

We are also considering continuing to establish more research bases in Nagoya and Singapore given that more faculty members from Nagoya University are visiting Singapore each year.

As more Japanese companies seek to expand their businesses globally, we will continue to help Nagoya University’s startups do the same.
