Nagoya University Delegation Visits Japan's Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology to Strengthen Ties with Singapore

Japan – On 6 June 2024, A delegation from the Tokai National Higher Education and Research System (THERS), led by Chancellor Mr. Seiichi Matsuo and Mr. Hiroshi Imaizumi, Director of Nagoya University Global Campus (NUGC), visited Mr. Soichiro Imaeda, State Minister of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.

During the meeting, the delegation highlighted Nagoya University's unique position as the only Japanese national university to establish a legal entity in Singapore. They reaffirmed their commitment to fostering strong relationships between Singapore, Asia, Aichi, Tokai, Chubu, and Japan, focusing on collaboration in education, research, and innovation.
