Information Session: Singapore Short-Term Study Programs (28/10/2026)

The Global Multi-Campus (GMC) Promotion Organization will offer three short-term overseas training programs in Singapore in February–March 2027.

A joint information session covering all three programs will be held on the date below. Details about program content, schedules, costs, scholarships, and application procedures will be provided.

グローバル・マルチキャンパス（GMC）推進機構では、2027年2-3月にシンガポールでの短期海外研修プログラムを３つ実施します。3研修について、以下の日程で合同説明会を開催します。ここで、プログラム内容・日程・費用・奨学金、申し込み方法について、詳しく説明します。

• Date: Wednesday, October 28, 2026

• Time: 14:45–16:15 (drop in and leave at any time)

• Venue: C15, Institute of Liberal Arts and Sciences

• Programs: All three Singapore short-term study programs

＊ Attendance at the information session is mandatory for students wishing to participate in any of the programs.

Programs Offered

Program 1 (New): Urban Agriculture and Food Security in Singapore

Learn about urban agriculture, food imports, and circular agriculture through on-site experiences in Singapore, and explore sustainable food systems.

• Dates: Sunday, February 28 – Tuesday, March 9, 2027 (10 days)

• Estimated cost: JPY 290,000

• Academic credit: Available

Recommended for students who:

• Are interested in urban agriculture and food (Even if you're not from the Faculty of Agriculture, humanities students can participate! )

• Want to explore a research topic in greater depth through field research.

都市農業・食料輸入・循環型農業を現地で学び、持続可能な食料システムを考える。

• 期間：2027年2月28日（日）– 3月9日（火）｜10日間


• 費用：29万円程度
単位：単位認定あり

• フィールド・リサーチでテーマについて深めてみたい方

   Program 2: Mei-Writing Spring Camp in Singapore

Explore culture and participate in creative activities with students from the National University of Singapore (NUS). Challenge yourself to write and perform an original script.

• Dates: Thursday, March 11 – Sunday, March 21, 2027 (11 days)

• Estimated cost: JPY 290,000

• Academic credit: Available, depending on the student's year of study

Previous year's program: Mei-Writing Spring Camp in Singapore

Recommended for students who:

• Are interested in collaborative learning and exchange with local students.

• Want to improve their ability to communicate and express ideas in English.

NUS学生と文化探究・創作活動。オリジナル脚本の執筆と上演に挑戦する。


• 期間：2027年3月11日（木）– 3月21日（日）｜11日間


• 費用：29万円程度
単位：単位認定あり（参加学年による）

• 昨年度プログラム：Mei-Writing Spring Camp in Singapore

   Program 3: Connecting the World — Skills to Thrive Globally

Develop the skills to thrive in a global environment through interactions with NUS students and companies, with learning activities focused on AI, entrepreneurship, and career development.

• Dates: Sunday, March 14 – Tuesday, March 30, 2027 (16 days)

• Estimated cost: JPY 350,000

• Academic credit: Not available

Previous year's program: Spring Training Programme 2026 – Singapore

Recommended for students who:

• Are interested in developing a global career, including entrepreneurship and working overseas.

• Want to build a network with people from diverse backgrounds in Singapore.

NUS学生や企業と交流し、AI・起業・キャリア学習でグローバルに活躍する力を養う。


• 期間：2027年3月14日（日）– 3月30日（火）｜16日間


• 費用：35万円程度
単位：単位なし

   Scholarships and Financial Support

• JASSO Scholarship: JPY 110,000 for all three programs, subject to eligibility and selection criteria.

• Nagoya University Scholarship: Undergraduate students may be eligible for an additional JPY 70,000 scholarship.

  ※ This support applies only to Program 2, Mei-Writing Spring Camp in Singapore.

Details regarding eligibility, funding conditions, and selection procedures will be explained at the information session.
