Central Japan Innovation Capital, a subsidiary of the Tokai National Higher Education and Research System (THERs), Announces First Close of Startup Fund

Japan – On December 12, 2024, Professor Kazuya Takeda from Nagoya University, serving as the president of Central Japan Innovation Capital, announced that its first fund, the Central Japan Innovative Research Fund I (LPS), has reached a first close with a total amount of 3.3 billion yen. The fund aims to invest in and provide business support to startups.


Central Japan Innovation Capital is a subsidiary of the Tokai National Higher Education and Research System (THERs), which operates Gifu University and Nagoya University, contributing to the realization of a positive cycle of university, industry, and regional development.
