AUS x NU Programme Concludes with Two-Week Visit by NUS Student Delegation

The AUS x NU Programme concluded following a two-week visit by a delegation of students from the National University of Singapore (NUS) to Nagoya University’s Higashiyama Campus from 3 to 19 July 2026.

The programme was made possible through the generous support of Prof. Akinari Hoshino from Global Multi-Campus (GMC), whose assistance facilitated the NUS delegation’s visit to Nagoya. It formed part of a broader collaboration connected to the Asian Undergraduate Symposium (AUS) 2026, organised by NUS College in partnership with the ASEAN University Network (AUN) under the theme “Communities in Action.” The symposium explored three key areas: Sustainability & Innovation, Inclusivity & Resilience, and Heritage & Culture.

During their stay in Japan, the student delegates participated in a range of academic and exchange activities. These included a financial literacy session led by Prof. Hiroshi Imaizumi on 4 July, followed by an exchange with students from Tokyo Woman’s Christian University. These activities provided opportunities for the participants to engage in cross-cultural and cross-institutional exchange and gain insights into different perspectives and experiences.

Nagoya University Global Campus (Singapore) extends its sincere appreciation to all faculty members, staff, and partners who contributed to the programme and supported the NUS delegation throughout their visit.

The programme provided a valuable opportunity to strengthen connections between students and institutions across Singapore and Japan. Nagoya University looks forward to continuing this collaboration through future exchanges and programmes.
